The Cape to Karoo Road Rally is a non competetive, non timed, family friendly car enthusiast roadtrip taking place on 1257km of tarmac roads from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn and back.

Times and locations may change slightly before event date and your navigational guide will have precise. Please note that all meals are for your own account.

Road Rally Start
Drivers will meet at a pre determined location where they will get a quick drivers briefing before departing.

Convoy Regroup
Drivers will regroup for 15 minutes to prevent vehicles from being too spread out and to allow the media team to set up at their next photography points

Brunch Stop & Optional Refuel
Brunch stop where drivers will also have the opportunity to refuel their vehicles. Drivers will depart 1h30 after arriving at their brunch spot.

After just less than 3 hours of driving without stopping, drivers will arrive at their next regroup and refuel point.

Arrive in Oudtshoorn
Arrive in Oudtshoorn and check into accomodation. There will be several "free hours'' before the evenings social activity.

The evenings social activity where drivers will get a chase to meet each other and chat about the driving from the day.

Breakfast Run
A stunning morning drive not to be missed. Drivers will depart from Oudtshoorn to a breakfast spot where Roosterkoek awaits (for your own account). The breakfast run will return back to Oudtshoorn. This is an optional drive so if you feel like sleeping in, feel free to do so!

Lunch Run
After a 1h 30min rest, the lunch run will take place departing from Oudtshoorn and doing another incredible mountain pass before a stop for lunch. After lunch the convoy will return to Oudtshoorn. This again is an optional excursion.

Sunset Canyon Cruise
A quick pre sunset cruise through another nearby mountain pass as the sun goes down. This is an optional excursion.

Depart Oudtshoorn
The last day of the C2K will see drivers depart from Oudtshoorn at 8:30am and head back to Cape Town.

If you didnt get a chance to refuel, now is your opportunity! This also serves as a quick regrouping point to assist the media team in getting to their photography spots.

The last regroup and refuel point for the rally. This regroup point is just less than an hour from the finish line.

Event Finish & Prize Giving
The final day of the C2K '25 will end in Gordons Bay where a small prize giving will take place at a restaurant.

ENTER THE RALLY
An entry is for 1 vehicle with 2 people including accommodation. Please note: All meals are for your own account. Once you have filled in a registration form you will receive an invoice which requires a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your entry. The remaining amount needs to be paid by the 30th of June. If you have other requirements such as additional passengers , we encourage you to reach out to grant@automotiveexperiences.co.za and we will calculate an entry ticket cost according to your exact needs.
